4:10 p.m. - Panel #1 Health Law: Past
Panelists will discuss the state and practice of health law when they began to practice.

Panelists will discuss the challenges they face today as health lawyers—one, implementing Maryland’s state health insurance exchange, the other advising hospitals, institutional providers, suppliers and other health care organizations and physicians on corporate and health care regulatory matters.

Panelists will discuss the future of health lawyering for health care providers as well as issues presented by new technologies such as neuroscience and genetics as well as increasing automation in the practices of law and medicine.
